Deck overview

This deck is an Esper lifegain and combo-control strategy commanded by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. From the command zone, Oloro grants a persistent buffer of 2 life each upkeep, establishing early stability and fueling life-based synergies without requiring mana commitment. The deck controls the board through efficient spot removal, sweeping resets like Farewell and Toxic Deluge, and stax pieces such as Drannith Magistrate and Blind Obedience that slow opposing tempo. Card advantage is generated through engines like Greed, Well of Lost Dreams, and Esper Sentinel, turning life into raw resources. The primary win condition is an infinite life-drain loop pairing Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Enduring Tenacity. Once assembled, any life gain or loss triggers an instant loop that drains all three opponents to zero. Backup win conditions include Felidar Sovereign and Bolas's Citadel chains, giving the deck a resilient, multi-layered endgame.
