Deck overview

Esper control/combo built around Y'shtola's card-advantage and drain triggers. The deck wins primarily by exiling its own library with Demonic Consultation, then landing Thassa's Oracle. Around that spike sit a life-gain shell using Aetherflux Reservoir, Transpose tokens, and lifelink Wizards; Y'shtola turns every 3+ mana noncreature spell into damage and card flow. Alisaie/Alphinaud and cost reducers like Lyse Hext let it chain spells. There is no double-faced commander; the partner pair serves as a draw sub-engine. With 37 lands, cheap rocks, and a heavy draw suite, the deck trades early speed for interaction and a compact one-turn kill once it finds Consultation.
