Deck overview

This deck executes an explosive Boros Voltron strategy commanded by Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful. By deploying both commanders on Turn 1 for a single white mana, the deck immediately establishes board presence and starts accumulating counters on Yoshimaru. It leverages premier equipment tutors and cost-cheating engines such as Sigarda's Aid, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, and Forge Anew to suit up either commander with massive enhancements like Colossus Hammer and Caduceus, Staff of Hermes. Critical onset arrives on Turn 4 with lethal evasive swings, while Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar converts single-target commander damage into table-wide elimination. The deck shields its aggressive clock using an elite suite of free and efficient defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver and Teferi's Protection. Asymmetric board wipes such as Urza's Ruinous Blast clear blockers while leaving the legendary core intact to close out the game by Turn 6.
