This deck is a mono-blue aggro-control strategy commanded by Namor the Sub-Mariner. Namor bridges the gap between spell-heavy control and creature-based tribal beatdown by creating 1/1 blue Merfolk tokens whenever you cast noncreature spells with blue mana symbols. The deck leverages an elite suite of low-cost and free countermagic, cantrips, and asymmetric bounce spells to disrupt opponents while simultaneously building a wide, evasive army. Merfolk lords such as Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident grant Islandwalk, which Harbinger of the Seas ensures is always active against nonbasic mana bases.
