Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura Enchantress and lifegain strategy commanded by Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel. It combines classic Voltron mechanics with Orzhov pillowfort, goad disruption, and passive drain. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost cost reducers and draw engines like Killian, Ink Duelist, Sram, Senior Edificer, and Kor Spiritdancer, which quickly turn cheap Aura spells into continuous card advantage. As the board develops, the deck attaches versatile Auras such as Sheltered by Ghosts and Spirit Mantle to assemble a lethal, evasive attacker while neutralizing opposing threats with Darksteel Mutation and Chains of Custody. Mid-to-late game engines like Eriette of the Charmed Apple and Archon of Sun's Grace convert Aura density into table-wide life drain and flying token armies. With Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel turning lifegain directly into massive card draw, the deck generates formidable card flow to rebuild, protect its board with Grand Crescendo, and eliminate opponents sequentially through evasive combat.
