Commander: Liesa, Forgotten Archangel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Liesa, Forgotten Archangel to establish board control while engineering deterministic life drain combos. Liesa serves as a persistent midgame engine, providing one-sided creature exile against opposing death triggers and recurring your own creatures to hand each end step. The deck accelerates into infinite drain loops by combining life-gain-on-loss effects like Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with drain-on-gain pieces like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, and Marauding Blight-Priest. Backed by heavy tutoring, burst damage enablers like Peer into the Abyss and Aetherflux Reservoir, and punishing stax elements, the list swiftly bleeds the table dry.
