Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Assassin typal strategy commanded by Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The primary plan leverages Ezio's ability to grant all Assassin spells freerunning for {B}{B}, allowing expensive Assassins to be deployed at a substantial discount once combat damage is dealt. The deck pairs Ezio's five-color execute trigger ({W}{U}{B}{R}{G} when dealing combat damage to an opponent at 10 or less life) with life-total setting cards such as Sorin Markov, Magister Sphinx, Tree of Perdition, and Virtus the Veiled to instantly eliminate players. In addition, Ramses, Assassin Lord acts as a direct table-ending win condition whenever any attacked player loses the game. Mana fixing is achieved through five-color mana rocks, filter lands like Cascading Cataracts, and Treasure generation. While highly lethal once assembled, the deck relies heavily on creature combat connections and faces vulnerability to board sweepers and fast opposing combos.
