Deck overview

This Temur deck is commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, aiming to overwhelm opponents with an avalanche of duplicated Dragons and explosive direct damage. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient early ramp across Turns 1–3, enabling Miirym to enter the battlefield on Turn 4 or 5. Once Miirym is established, every subsequent nontoken Dragon creates a nonlegendary token copy, doubling the board presence, combat pressure, and enter-the-battlefield triggers of threats like Terror of the Peaks, Ancient Bronze Dragon, and Astral Dragon. The deck can win through massive aerial combat amplified by Thrakkus the Butcher and Dragon Tempest, devastating burn combos like Wrathful Red Dragon paired with Blasphemous Act, or an infinite token loop via Astral Dragon targeting Cursed Mirror. Supported by flexible countermagic, asymmetric bounce spells like Raise the Palisade, and dragon-specific cost reducers, the deck delivers rapid, high-impact finishes once its commander untaps.
