Deck overview

This mono-black deck combines aristocrats sacrifice loops, graveyard reanimation, and group slug damage. Led by The Master of Lake-town, the deck turns life loss into mass milling, converting opposing damage into card advantage upon the commander's death. The primary win condition pairs the commander with Syr Konrad, the Grim or Dreadhound. When an opponent loses life, the commander forces them to mill cards; each creature card milled triggers Konrad or Dreadhound, causing all opponents to lose life and continuing the cascade until life totals or libraries are exhausted. Secondary plans revolve around mass reanimation bombs like Rise of the Dark Realms and Grimoire of the Dead alongside steady discard attrition from Braids, Cabal Minion and Necrogoyf. While vulnerable to instant-speed exile and graveyard hate, redundant recursion and death-defying instants give the deck steady resilience.
