Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Angel tribal and board wipe control deck helmed by Avacyn, Angel of Hope. The game plan revolves around hitting regular land drops and deploying mana acceleration during the early turns, establishing defensive blockers such as Bishop of Wings and Giada, Font of Hope. On Turn 6, the deck casts Avacyn to grant all controlled permanents indestructible. Once Avacyn is on the battlefield, symmetrical sweepers like Wrath of God, Vanquish the Horde, and Austere Command turn into one-sided blowouts that wipe away opposing boards while preserving your army. Lethal pressure is applied through flying combat damage over multiple turn rotations, eventually eliminating all three opponents around Turn 10. While resilient against damage-based effects and traditional destroy spells, the strategy is vulnerable to exile-based removal, countermagic, and fast combo decks due to mono-white's limited card velocity and absence of nonland tutors.
