Pirates by TheSeaDog

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Pirate tribal tempo deck helmed by the partner pair Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Breeches, Brazen Plunderer. The core engine is combat damage: whenever Pirates connect, Malcolm creates Treasures and Breeches exiles opponents' cards for you to cast, generating explosive mana and card advantage each turn. The deck wins through a Pirate swarm backed by artifact-trigger pingers like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, with combo potential centered on Malcolm's Treasure generation and Pirate damage triggers. Changeling effects (Runed Stalactite, Blades of Velis Vel, Wings of Velis Vel) and Captain's Hook convert non-Pirates into Pirates to supercharge the engine. Secondary lines include theft via Kitesail Larcenist and Coercive Recruiter, and the Malcolm + Glint-Horn Buccaneer discard-damage loop.
