Deck overview

Gylwain, Casting Director is a GW enchantress-aura deck that turns cheap Role tokens and auras into a fast, hard-to-block commander. The commander's enter trigger makes every nontoken creature create a Role enchantment, while Sythis, Harvest's Hand, Enchantress's Presence, and Kor Spiritdancer turn each aura into cards. Ethereal Armor, Ancestral Mask, and Strength of the Harvest translate that enchantment count into huge power on Gylwain, who then wins by commander damage over three attacks. Overwhelming Stampede offers a one-shot alpha-strike alternative. Shalai, Voice of Plenty, Umbra Mystic, Lightning Greaves, and recursion from Sun Titan and Yenna keep the aura stack alive. The deck is consistent and moderately resilient, but slow against combo and has no counterspells.
