Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Rakdos control and aristocrats build commanded by Olivia Voldaren. It blends creature-based board control and aristocratic sacrifice loops to grind out opponents and execute game-ending combos. Early turns focus on mana acceleration with rocks like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and rituals like Dark Ritual and Jeska's Will, alongside cheap tutors such as Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor. The midgame establishes card advantage through engines like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Necropotence, while Olivia Voldaren pairs with deathtouch equipment like Basilisk Collar to eliminate opposing creature threats on demand. The primary win condition loops Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar and a Zombie enabler, draining the table through Zulaport Cutthroat or Syr Konrad, the Grim. Alternatively, the deck generates explosive mana using Cabal Coffers, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, or Mana Geyser to cast a lethal Torment of Hailfire. The strategy is resilient, flexible, and capable of pivoting between attrition control and combo finishes.
