Deck overview

This is a focused Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, built around one core loop: cast a big instant or sorcery, then let Rootha's combat trigger turn that spell's mana value into an X/X flying, hasty Elemental. The deck then chains extra combat spells - World at War, Relentless Assault, Fury of the Horde, Full Throttle, Combat Celebrant, and Breath of Fury - so every additional combat re-fires Rootha's trigger and adds another huge token to the board. A dense package of cost reducers (Goblin Electromancer, Stormcatch Mentor, Archmage of Runes, Ral, Monsoon Mage) and copy effects (Galvanic Iteration, Dualcaster Mage, Thousand-Year Storm) multiplies both the spell count and the token size. Secondary lines include storm-style wins through Mind's Desire and Mizzix's Mastery, plus token-copy engines in Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Rionya, Fire Dancer. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage in a single explosive turn.
