Deck overview

This Esper Zombie deck is piloted by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist, turning creature discards into 4/4 Zombie copies for {2}{U}. The deck accelerates through low-cost mana rocks and landcyclers, deploying Hashaton on Turn 2 or 3. By Turn 4, it establishes an active discard outlet such as Putrid Imp or Psychic Frog, discarding expensive threats like Grave Titan, Archfiend of Ifnir, or Angel of the Ruins to cheat them into play as 4/4 Zombie tokens. The deck generates severe board pressure around Turn 5, using Archfiend of Ifnir to suppress opposing creature boards while expanding an army of Zombie tokens. With evasion granted by Gleaming Overseer, Eternal Skylord, and Zombie Master, backed by life loss from The Scarab God and Gempalm Polluter, the deck closes out the game on Turn 7. Even without Hashaton, standalone engines like The Scarab God and Rot Hulk maintain strong late-game pressure.
