Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a Grixis turbo-combo deck that wants to win before the table can set up. Its primary path is the classic Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact library-exile kill, assembled with premium tutors and fast ritual mana. Backup lines use Underworld Breach with Lion's Eye Diamond/Lotus Petal and Grinding Station to fuel a storm Brain Freeze, or Hullbreaker Horror with fast artifacts to gain infinite cast triggers. Azula is a copy-ritual engine: she attacks, adds RR, and copies the next spell, so a single tutor or ritual resolves twice. Birgi's front face acts as a spare ritual and Harnfel as card selection; neither is a hidden commander. The 99 is built to function without Azula.
