Deck overview

Led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, this Bant midrange deck focuses on placing, moving, and proliferating +1/+1 counters to build an overwhelming combat presence. Early turns establish mana through 2-CMC ramp like Farseek and Signets, leading into early counter generators like Innkeeper's Talent and Bard the Bowman. Once Tidus enters the battlefield, combat triggers allow moving counters and drawing cards via Cheer while proliferating across the team. The deck compounds this advantage through powerhouses like Solid Ground, Ouroboroid, and Forgotten Ancient, converting wide boards into lethal combat swings using Chocobo Knights for double strike, Rikku, Resourceful Guardian for unblockability, or Simic Ascendancy for an alternate win. Layered protection spells such as Ripples of Potential and Fierce Guardianship keep key creatures safe from opposing board wipes.
