Deck overview

This Sultai deck is led by Kotis, the Fangkeeper, a 4-mana 2/1 Zombie Warrior with built-in indestructible that exiles cards from opponents' libraries upon dealing combat damage and casts them for free up to the damage dealt. The primary game plan focuses on scaling Kotis through equipment, auras, mutate, double combat phases, and infect. Early ramp on turns 2 and 3 facilitates a Turn 4 Kotis deployment with evasion. By Turn 5, Kotis creates a lethal threat with cards like Bone Sabres, Brokkos, Apex of Forever, Genji Glove, or Grafted Exoskeleton, generating overwhelming card advantage by casting stolen spells while threatening rapid player elimination. Kotis's indestructible body allows the deck to run asymmetric creature board wipes like Blood Money and Villainous Wrath without self-harm. The deck steadily eliminates opponents across 2 response cycles by Turn 7, protected by a suite of shroud, hexproof, ward, and countermagic.
