Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy mono-green counters and stompy strategy commanded by Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider. The game plan revolves around deploying efficient 1-drop and 2-drop mana dorks to power out Vorinclex on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Vorinclex immediately doubles all counter placement on your permanents while halving counter placement for opponents, effectively shutting down opposing planeswalkers and counter strategies. The deck translates this doubling effect into explosive mana generation with creatures like Kami of Whispered Hopes and Gyre Sage, massive card draw through power-based spells like Rishkar's Expertise, and lethal combat boards with Ancient Bronze Dragon, Doubling Season, and Ulamog, the Defiler. Supported by an efficient suite of 1-mana protection spells, the deck reliably establishes must-answer pressure by Turn 5 and tramples through the table across two response cycles.
