Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, establishing oversized creatures or high-power equipment like Gigantosaurus and Tangleweave Armor, and rapidly reducing Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana. Once deployed on Turn 4 or 5, Ghalta serves as a massive 12/12 trample threat capable of dispatching opponents in two hits. The deck leverages power-based card draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds to keep resources flowing, while combat enhancers like Unnatural Growth and Triumph of the Hordes accelerate table eliminations. Although the deck possesses immense raw combat pressure and robust graveyard recursion, it suffers from a lack of instant-speed interaction and minimal stack protection, leaving it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and faster combo strategies.
