Doctor Doom by wowzierocker

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain-tribal discard/connive value engine helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The plan is to churn through the library via connive, looting, and wheels, converting every discard into a payoff: damage from Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, and Archfiend of Ifnir, tokens from Cryptcaller Chariot and Ultron, Unlimited, and mana from Skirge Familiar and Green Goblin, Nemesis. The commander grants menace and a free connive to a Villain each combat while draining opponents on land discards. The deck wins primarily through a burst Living Laser copy-swarm, a Glint-Horn Buccaneer + Skirge Familiar + Rielle, the Everwise discard loop, or grinding Villain beats with Doctor Octopus, Master Planner pumping the board. It is a mid-speed, high-card-velocity deck that trades fast assembly for overwhelming redundancy of its discard triggers.
