Deck overview

This Orzhov combo deck leverages life manipulation, efficient tutors, and asymmetric stax pieces to assemble decisive two-card infinite combos. Its primary line pairs Heliod, Sun-Crowned with Walking Ballista, granting the construct lifelink to deal infinite ping damage to all three opponents in a single turn. The deck supports this game plan through a dense tutor suite featuring Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Enlightened Tutor, and Ranger-Captain of Eos. Robust protection spells like Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Orim's Chant secure the winning window against enemy interaction. Asymmetric disruption from Drannith Magistrate, Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Orcish Bowmasters, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse taxes opposing resources while providing life buffer. If the primary line fails, independent backup routes like Bloodthirsty Conqueror combined with Enduring Tenacity or a Bolas's Citadel engine close the game with minimal delay.
