Deck overview

This is a general Esper midrange deck centered on Queza, Augur of Agonies. Its main plan is to assemble Queza, Augur of Agonies with repeatable draw engines such as Black Market Connections, Erebos, God of the Dead, Call of the Ring, or Teferi's Ageless Insight. Each draw produces life gain and incremental damage, while cards such as Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Chasm Skulker, Minn, Wily Illusionist, and Elenda and Azor turn the same flow into creatures. The deck has solid removal, sweepers, and moderate counterspell support, but its curve is high and its tutors do not consistently find nonlegendary engines. It can create a strong value board around turn 6 and a must-answer engine around turn 8, but it lacks a compact, reliable route to eliminate three players. Combat, large draw spells, and Bolas's Citadel are real closing tools, yet each needs substantial setup and remains vulnerable to disruption.
