Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Elf tribal strategy commanded by High Perfect Morcant. It focuses on accumulating incremental board advantage through creature deployment, -1/-1 counter placement, and proliferate activations. Early turns focus on developing mana and deploying low-cost Elves such as Virulent Emissary, Creakwood Safewright, and Lys Alana Informant. On turn 4, Morcant enters the battlefield, triggering blight on opposing creatures and immediately enabling proliferate. The deck systematically weakens or eliminates opposing boards through repeated -1/-1 counter distribution. For the win, it transitions into combat pressure using high-power payoffs like Moon-Vigil Adherents, Prismabasher, and Jubilation, or reanimates an entire army using Bloodline Bidding. While resilient to single-target removal due to extensive recursion and defensive options like Selfless Safewright, the deck remains vulnerable to fast combo strategies and exile-based sweepers.
