Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic engine deck commanded by The Astonishing Ant-Man. The game plan revolves around turning card draws into +1/+1 counters, then converting those counters into a wide army of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. Rapid mana ramp and efficient card draw engines like Rhystic Study, Sylvan Library, and Skullclamp ensure a steady stream of cards to rapidly grow the commander. Multipliers such as Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Doubling Season accelerate token and counter production exponentially. Once a substantial board presence is established, the deck transitions into a lethal win using mass pump and overrun spells like Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, and Overwhelming Stampede, or unblockable combat via Herald of Secret Streams. A robust suite of low-cost counterspells and protection spells safeguards the board state from opposing interaction.
