Deck overview

Ragost, Deft Gastronaut commands an aggressive Boros artifact aristocrats deck that turns every artifact permanent into Food and burns opponents directly. The core game plan floods the board with artifact tokens using cards like Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Illustrious Wanderglyph. Ragost sacrifices these artifacts for {1} mana to deal 3 damage to each opponent. Giving Ragost lifelink via Basilisk Collar or Sheltered by Ghosts converts each activation into a 9-life swing, automatically untapping Ragost on your end step and triggering draw engines like The Gaffer and Haliya, Guided by Light. The deck accelerates its damage output using Sting, the Glinting Dagger, Battlemage's Bracers, and City on Fire while Chandra's Incinerator wipes opposing boards with noncombat damage. The deck steadily burns down the entire table simultaneously by turn 8.
