Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Vampire tribal deck centered on Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. It aims to deal early damage to generate Blood tokens, then attack with Strefan to cheat expensive, game-ending Vampires directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. By bypassing high mana costs, the deck accelerates threats like Necropolis Regent, Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and Olivia's Attendants ahead of curve. The Blood tokens provide smooth card filtering to prevent dead draws. Combat damage escalates quickly with tribal anthem effects, life-drain triggers, and asymmetric sweepers like Olivia's Wrath. While vulnerable to instant removal targeting Strefan before combat and lacking stack-based interaction, the deck maintains strong mid-game resilience through powerful graveyard recursion engines like Olivia, Crimson Bride and Bloodline Necromancer.
