Elenda Lifegain by Rockeys

Format: Commander

Commander: Elenda, Saint of Dusk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a midrange Orzhov lifegain deck helmed by Elenda, Saint of Dusk. The plan is to stack incremental life triggers, grow a wide board of +1/+1-counter payoffs, and convert that life total into both a massive commander and table-wide drain. Primary wins come from combat with pumped bodies (Ajani's Pridemate, Voice of the Blessed, Twinblade Paladin, a fully scaled Elenda) and from drain engines (Starscape Cleric, Marauding Blight-Priest, Blood Artist). A pair of two-card infinite drain loops with Bloodthirsty Conqueror provides a sudden finish when both halves appear. Exsanguinate and anthem effects like Leyline of Hope and The Wind Crystal supply alternate closing routes. Elenda is a strong payoff-lifelink, hexproof from instants, and a huge body once life is ten above starting-but the 99 already contains redundant life sinks and win conditions, so the deck functions without her.
