Chainsmoker Cat - Terminal Stage 3 by Boxer29

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is an Esper spellslinger-control deck that turns noncreature spells into life drain and card advantage. The primary plan is to land Y'shtola, then chain mana-value-3-or-greater noncreature spells to deal 2 damage to each opponent and gain life, while life-loss payments (Necropotence, pain lands, Talismans) trigger her end-step draw. The main finish is Aetherflux Reservoir plus Bolas's Citadel plus Sensei's Divining Top, assembled with Wishclaw Talisman and Grim Tutor. A secondary loop uses Displacer Kitten, Retraction Helix, Sol Ring, Teferi, Time Raveler, and Valley Floodcaller for infinite mana and bounce. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Y'shtola's drain and draw, with Papalymo and Kambal as supporting drainers.
