Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Phyrexian aggro-midrange build led by Mishra, Claimed by Gix. The core game plan focuses on curving out aggressive Phyrexian and artifact creatures, equipping them with powerful augmentations like Nettlecyst and Cranial Ram, and deploying Mishra on Turn 4 to convert wide combat steps into direct life drain against all three opponents simultaneously. The deck features strong synergy with Phyrexian Dragon Engine, allowing the pair to meld into the devastating Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia. Supported by reanimation spells such as Reanimate, Phyrexian Delver, and Will of the Abzan, the deck easily recovers its threats from the graveyard. It also runs efficient interactive spells like Withering Torment and Deflecting Swat to protect its board state. While it lacks generic tutors to guarantee its meld sequence every match, its high density of resilient threats, card draw engines, and recursive creatures makes it a formidable combat presence.
