Deck overview

This deck leverages Ingris Stingerquill as an aggressive force multiplier for infect and toxic creatures. Because Ingris's triggered ability causes attacking creatures themselves to deal 1 noncombat damage to each opponent, every attacking creature with infect assigns a poison counter directly to all three opponents simultaneously, completely bypassing ground blockers. The deck curves low-cost infect threats such as Plague Stinger, Blightbelly Rat, and Phyrexian Crusader under Ingris, swiftly spreading poison counters across the table. Once poison counters are seeded, the deck utilizes a dense package of proliferate spells including Drown in Ichor, Volt Charge, and planeswalkers like Vraska, Betrayal's Sting to accelerate lethal thresholds without needing combat connections. While the deck boasts high redundancy in creatures and burn-based removal, it lacks stack-based protection and nonland tutors, leaving its creature swarm exposed to opposing board sweepers and targeted removal.
