Smaug in your face by succuidy

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Rakdos Treasures deck built around Smaug the Impenetrable as an indestructible damage sponge. The plan is to resolve Smaug, then point burn spells at him; each noncombat point of damage becomes a Treasure. Those Treasures feed X-spells such as Exsanguinate and Crackle with Power, drain effects from Mayhem Devil and Mirkwood Bats, and alternate wins in Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant, and Knuckles the Echidna. Magda, Brazen Outlaw works as a hidden commander to generate Treasures and search up artifacts or dragons. A secondary beatdown plan uses haste dragons like Goldspan Dragon and Smaug the Magnificent. The deck is fast and explosive, but depends heavily on Smaug staying on board.
