Deck overview

This Rakdos Goblin and Orc deck centers on the amass mechanic. Commanded by Great Goblin, Foul-Hearted, the strategy creates a large Goblin Army token and gives it trample to break through opposing blockers. The early game establishes mana development and incremental amass triggers through cards like March from the Black Gate and Dreadhorde Invasion. Once the commander enters on Turn 4 or 5, it accelerates the Army's growth upon entry and during every attack step. Secondary payoffs like Mauhúr, Uruk-hai Captain, The Great Goblin, and Bolg, Erebor's Reckoning amplify counter placement, provide direct burn, and weaken opposing boards. While the deck possesses explosive combat turns with finishers like Assault on Osgiliath, it relies strictly on fair combat damage. It lacks infinite combos, stack protection, and enchantment removal, leaving its single tall Army token vulnerable to well-timed spot removal and board sweepers.
