Format: Commander

Commander: Chainer, Dementia Master

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Chainer, Dementia Master leads a mono-black reanimator/comedo deck that turns the graveyard into a repeatable drain engine. The primary plan is to bin Kokusho, the Evening Star and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, then use Chainer's instant-speed reanimation with a sacrifice outlet (Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Tower) and K'rrik's life-for-black ability to loop lethal drain triggers. Secondary paths are explosive black mana into Exsanguinate and a Necrotic Ooze + Asmodeus/Skirge Familiar line that draws the library and fuels a big X-spell. The deck is highly commander-centric: Chainer's leaves-the-battlefield trigger exiles every Nightmare, so protection and timing are critical. There is no hidden commander.
