Jace Tribute

Format: Commander

Commander: Jace, Multiverse Architect

Bracket: 4

DeckCheck Threat Index: 58

Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color control and polymorph strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list excludes cheap utility creatures completely, ensuring every creature in the 99 is a game-ending bomb such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Void Winnower, or Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. Cheap noncreature spells like Bitterblossom, Hard Evidence, and Legion's Landing generate disposable tokens. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his -3 loyalty ability on a token to cheat a massive threat directly into play. The deck supports this game plan with a premier 5-color mana base, dense 2-mana ramp, and top-tier interaction including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat. Once a praetor or eldrazi locks the table, combat damage finishes opponents quickly.
