Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Golgari aristocrats and token swarm strategy commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The game plan focuses on generating diverse token types—such as Food, Clues, and Treasures—which Chatterfang automatically doubles into an army of 1/1 green Squirrel tokens. These tokens fuel Chatterfang's built-in removal ability to control the battlefield while feeding sacrifice outlets and aristocrat drain engines like Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, and Mirkwood Bats. The deck's primary route to victory is an explosive Turn 5 infinite drain combo using Pitiless Plunderer or Warren Soultrader alongside Chatterfang. Independent secondary win conditions include the Ivy Lane Denizen plus Scurry Oak infinite token combo and the Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Starscape Cleric life-drain loop. While the deck boasts rapid mana acceleration, resilient recovery, and high functional redundancy, its primary vulnerabilities are a lack of stack interaction, minimal instant-speed plan protection, and reliance on creature-based permanents.
