Deck overview

This Golgari deck combines classic Elf tribal swarm with explosive +1/+1 counter scaling powered by Tyvar the Bellicose. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with low-cost mana dorks like Elvish Mystic, Priest of Titania, and Incubation Druid. Once Tyvar enters, every mana dork activation converts produced mana directly into permanent +1/+1 counters once each turn, rapidly turning humble mana producers into massive attacking threats. Attack steps automatically grant all attacking Elves deathtouch, which creates formidable combat trades and powers lethal poison finishes through Fynn, the Fangbearer. Burst draw engines such as Beast Whisperer, Guardian Project, and Shamanic Revelation replenish resources, fueling game-ending turns with Overwhelming Stampede, Beastmaster Ascension, or Kindred Summons. Supported by efficient Golgari permanent removal like Assassin's Trophy and Tear Asunder, the deck consistently threatens table elimination by Turn 5 or 6.
