Shadowheart take 2 by jeph

Format: Commander

Commander: Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar and Inspiring Leader

Bracket: 4

DeckCheck Threat Index: 44

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck pairs Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar with Inspiring Leader to create an aggressive tokens and aristocrats engine. Inspiring Leader turns standard 1/1 creature tokens into formidable 3/3 threats, while Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar sacrifices these buffed tokens to draw 3 cards per activation. The 99 is packed with recurring token producers, token doublers, and death-trigger drain engines. The deck curve progresses from early token generation into mid-game card velocity, deploying decisive threats on Turn 6 and finishing the table on Turn 7 through wide combat and mass sacrifice drain. While the deck lacks fast mana and countermagic, its commander synergy, card draw, and functional redundancy provide strong consistency and resilience against attrition.
