Deck overview

This deck pairs Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart to lead a 5-color +1/+1 counter and token strategy. Michelangelo enters early, attacking to generate Food tokens and place counters through Raid. Each entering token triggers Leonardo, distributing +1/+1 counters across your entire creature army once each turn. The deck magnifies this baseline with powerful counter doublers like Corpsejack Menace, damage amplifiers like Raphael, the Muscle, and evasive beaters like Leatherhead, Iron Gator. Flexible removal spells and asymmetric board resets like Wave Goodbye clear paths through opposing blockers. While the strategy relies heavily on creature combat and lacks instant-speed stack interaction, its dense internal redundancy, consistent mana fixing, and potent board pumps allow it to recover smoothly and overwhelm the table by Turn 8.
