Deck overview

This Sultai mid-range deck is led by Glarb, Calamity's Augur, combining +1/+1 counters, token generation, and top-of-library card velocity. The game plan focuses on establishing Glarb by turn 3 to filter draws via surveil and play lands and high-impact spells directly from the library. In the mid-game, the deck deploys compounding counter engines like Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, Court of Garenbrig, and Doubling Season, alongside token producers such as Peregrin Took and Tireless Provisioner. Mana acceleration from Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Night of the Sweets' Revenge converts accumulated Food and Mutagen tokens into large mana pools. The deck closes games around turns 6 to 8 by overwhelming opponents with trampling, high-power threats backed by Surrak and Goreclaw, Vigor, or an asymmetric board clear via Wave Goodbye. While it possesses strong organic grind and creature scaling, it remains vulnerable to board wipes and lacks stack interaction.
