Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Rakdos Goblin swarm and aristocrat engine commanded by The Great Goblin. The strategy revolves around placing counters on Goblins, Orcs, and Armies to burn opponents directly, while converting creature deaths into impulsive card advantage. Early turns focus on establishing mana velocity through low-cost rocks and sacrificial ramp like Skirk Prospector. By turn 4, the deck deploys The Great Goblin alongside repeatable counter sources like Metallic Mimic, amass spells, or blight mechanics. The deck pivots into a lethal threat around turn 5 using explosive token multipliers like Krenko, Mob Boss, Shared Animosity, or Bolg, Erebor's Reckoning. Opponents are typically eliminated across turns 6 and 7 through a mix of wide combat damage and direct burn from Goblin Bombardment. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to death-triggered card velocity, the deck lacks heavy stack protection and remains vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers.
