Deck overview

This Selesnya deck leverages Trostani, Selesnya's Voice to merge lifegain payoffs with token swarm strategies. Early turns focus on mana acceleration and deploying incremental lifegain sources or efficient token generators such as Speaker of the Heavens, Resplendent Angel, and Phyrexian Processor. Once Trostani enters, the deck rapidly inflates its life total by triggering lifegain equal to entering creatures' toughness while duplicating high-impact tokens with populate. The deck transitions into a win either through alternate lifegain victory triggers like Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, and Aetherflux Reservoir, or by overwhelming combat steps fueled by Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, and Blossoming Bogbeast. While resilient against damage-based strategies due to a massive life buffer, the deck is vulnerable to instant-speed spot removal targeting its upkeep win conditions and lacks countermagic to contest fast spell-based combo decks.
