Deck overview

This deck combines Wizard tribal synergies with Simic big-mana acceleration, using Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle as a land-ramp anchor in the command zone. The game plan focuses on rapid early ramp during the first two turns to cast Arixmethes on Turn 3. Untapping on Turn 4 with six mana unlocks powerful Wizard engines like Azami, Lady of Scrolls, Archmage of Runes, and Kindred Discovery. These engines convert creature deployments into continuous card flow. Once substantial mana and card advantage are established, the deck transitions into the midgame with asymmetric sweepers such as Cyclone Summoner and Raise the Palisade, which clear opposing boards while keeping friendly Wizards intact. Victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage, backed by Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and an awakened 12/12 Arixmethes.
