Zurgo Go Burrrrrrrn by legobumb

Format: Commander

Commander: Zurgo Stormrender

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender leads a Mardu token aristocrats deck that wins by flooding the board with attacking tokens and converting their arrival and death into direct damage. Zurgo supplies card draw when attacking tokens die and drains opponents when non-attacking tokens die, while Purphoros, Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, Elas il-Kor, Bastion of Remembrance and The Meathook Massacre turn every token into 1-2 damage. Secondary paths use combat with Adeline, Anim Pakal and Caesar to grow a wide board and finish with Vault of the Archangel or Inkshield tokens. Zurgo is the primary engine and card source, not a combo piece; the hidden commanders are Purphoros and Adeline, which provide the actual damage and token multiplication the deck needs to close games.
