felothar V2 by cp1e

Format: Commander

Commander: Felothar the Steadfast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Felothar the Steadfast leads an Abzan toughness-matters deck. Your creatures attack with toughness and your walls double as mana dorks and card draw. The primary plan is to assemble a wall-and-dork battlefield, convert toughness into damage and cards, then finish with a repeatable life-loss loop: Tree of Perdition setting opponents to 13, amplified by Wound Reflection or Triskaidekaphobia, or Betor's end-step half-life trigger backed by Wound Reflection. Bedrock Tortoise, Baldin and Assault Formation soften the reliance on Felothar, while Seedborn Muse creates the ability to use Tree on every turn. Secondary combat wins come from Earthshaker Giant, Baldin, and Captain America's Shield.
