Deck overview

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice rewards the deck's many token makers with life gain and repeatable population. Early cards such as Soul Warden, Avacyn's Pilgrim, Utopia Sprawl, and Staff of the Storyteller establish resources, while Court of Grace, Resplendent Angel, Halo Fountain, Rhys the Redeemed, and Grand Crescendo provide token bodies. Doubling Season, Primal Vigor, Exalted Sunborn, and Song of the Worldsoul can greatly increase the output, although they are expensive and not consistently assembled together. The practical closing plan is to use the life engine to reach 40 life, then cast or tutor Felidar Sovereign and survive until the next upkeep. Test of Endurance, Angel of Destiny, and Aetherflux Reservoir provide alternate finishes, but each has additional timing or resource requirements. The deck is strong at developing a wide board and gaining life, but it is slow, vulnerable during setup, and has no compact infinite combo or stack-based interaction package.
