Bristly Bill by Atomic_Flare

Format: Commander

Commander: Bristly Bill, Spine Sower

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mono-Green landfall and +1/+1 counters midrange stompy deck helmed by Bristly Bill, Spine Sower. The core plan ramps aggressively into extra land drops, then leverages Bill's landfall triggers and activated double ability alongside a dense suite of counter multipliers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, The Earth Crystal) to grow an overwhelming board. Token engines like Scute Swarm, Rampaging Baloths, and Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer provide go-wide pressure while individual threats such as Kalonian Hydra, Mossborn Hydra, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus scale into one-shot lethal. Primary wins come through combat (often amplified by Overwhelming Stampede or trample enablers), with no infinite combos. Bill is a strong early engine but the 99 contains enough independent landfall payoffs and stompy threats that the deck remains functional without him.
