Smaug by ZeGuigui

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-red Treasure storm/burn deck built around Smaug the Magnificent. Smaug is both an early hasty attacker and the primary finisher: his upkeep makes a Treasure and his attack trigger converts Treasures into direct damage. The secondary path is artifact-token swarm burn, using Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, and Weftstalker Ardent together with Brass's Bounty, Xorn, and Goldspan Dragon, then amplifying the pings with Fiery Emancipation, Torbran, and Twinflame Tyrant. Magda tutors artifact win conditions such as Hellkite Tyrant and Helm of the Host, while There and Back Again provides a hidden back-up Smaug that bursts into fourteen Treasures when destroyed.
