Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Voltron Spellslinger list led by Lyse Hext. The primary game plan revolves around casting Lyse on Turn 3, then leveraging her universal {1} cost reduction for noncreature spells to cast multiple cheap spells each turn. Casting two or more noncreature spells grants Lyse double strike, transforming low-cost cantrips, evasion spells, and combat tricks into massive chunks of commander damage. The deck features extreme functional redundancy among unblockable effects and cheap protection spells, allowing it to push lethal damage while keeping open single-mana defensive answers like Dawn's Truce and Surge of Salvation. Because the deck wins solely through sequential combat damage across three opponents, its closing speed spans several turns. While it excels at shielding its own commander, it runs almost no interactive countermagic or noncreature removal, making it vulnerable to faster combo decks and widespread exile sweepers.
