Deck overview

This Mono-Blue Blink Control deck harnesses the unique ability of Y'shtola Rhul to double end-step triggers every turn. In the early game, the deck curves out with efficient mana rocks and utility creatures that draw cards or fetch lands on entry. Once the commander arrives on Turn 5, it immediately blinks these utility creatures twice per turn cycle, fueling an explosive card engine that rapidly outpaces opponents. During the mid-to-late game, the deck pivots toward high-impact payoffs like Agent of Treachery, Master of Waves, and Wan Shi Tong, All-Knowing, repeatedly stealing permanents, tucking opposing threats, and creating large token armies. A dense package of low-cost countermagic and instant blink effects protects the board while disrupting opposing win attempts, smoothly carrying the game toward an overwhelming combat victory.
